Alan Martin is an Elite (Level 1) USA Cycling Coach and Certified Skill Instructor. For over 30 years he has been riding and competing and since the early 90′s has been active in the Central Ohio cycling community serving in leadership positions with racing, touring, and cycling advocacy groups.
Over the years, Alan has worked extensively with junior riders having served as a team director and/or head coach for a number of teams. He has also served as a staff member of the USA Cycling North Central Athlete Development Camp and worked at other camps in the area.
On a regular basis he can be found teaching clinics at local bike shops and has been featured in the Columbus Dispatch giving cycling advice. One of his specialties is in the area of skill development where he has trained hundreds of cyclists, helping them improve their bike handling skills, group riding and racing skills.
